Overview

Jean, a French journalist, and Otto, a young German with a deep love for France, join forces to champion peace across Europe. Jean’s daughter, Corinne, is on the verge of a dazzling acting career when war erupts and the Nazis seize control. As the occupation tightens, the two friends take divergent paths: Jean rises to become a powerful press magnate, fervently backing collaboration with the occupiers, while Otto is appointed the Reich’s ambassador in Paris. Corinne, caught in the turmoil, is thrust straight into the heart of danger.
