Hugo 24

Overview

At 23, Hugo remains stuck in adolescence. The night before turning 24, adulthood looms: jobless, he attends an interview at a real estate firm—a coveted position that would let him wear a suit, echoing the father who abandoned him. Abandonment haunts him: his mother's incarcerated, his girlfriend's walking away, his family's disintegrating. Then his landlord gives him 24 hours to vacate. What follows is a desperate race against the clock—one that will force Hugo to finally cross the threshold into becoming a man.
