Overview

Cass keeps the lights on in their cramped San Francisco studio by juggling nanny gigs, waiting tables, and dealing party drugs on the side. After a steamy one-night stand with Kalli—a coworker they’ve long admired—Cass reluctantly agrees to look after Kalli’s 11-year-old daughter, Ari, while she heads out of town. But when days stretch into silence from Kalli, Cass and Ari slowly forge a deep connection that drags Cass back into the shadows of their own troubled past, forcing them to finally face the wounds they’ve been dodging all along.
