Overview

In a town predominantly filled with residents named Johnson, a railroad project faces obstruction. To seize the land, the unscrupulous Hedley Lamarr employs his goons to create chaos. When the sheriff is murdered, the townsfolk petition the Governor for a replacement. In a twist, Hedley manipulates the situation, leading the Governor to appoint the first black sheriff in the West. This unexpected turn of events sets the stage for a comedic clash between tradition and progress, as the new sheriff navigates the challenges of a town resistant to change.
