No Man's Land

Overview

Pan Xiao, a fledgling attorney, travels to a remote desert village in western China to defend a falcon poacher accused of running over a police officer. Through sharp legal maneuvering, Pan secures a victory and, as his fee, takes the poacher’s car. Confident, he sets off for home, unaware that the journey ahead will test him far beyond the courtroom.
