Overview

Aisha McAdams, once a competitive runner and now a photographer, sets out to capture the victories and hardships of celebrated ultra trail runners like Jim Walmsley and Eszter Csillag. Journeying to legendary races—the Western States Endurance Run through eastern California's mountains and the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc in the French Alps—the film celebrates these athletes who sustain their ferocity across 100 miles of mountain trails, gaining thousands of vertical feet along the way.
