Overview

On March 27, 1977, at 2:00 PM, a dense fog enveloped the typically tranquil Los Rodeos Airport in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Two fully occupied jumbo jets waited on the tarmac. A bombing at a neighboring airport had diverted flights to this understaffed facility. In just three hours, 583 lives would be lost. This movie recreates the events building up to the disaster.
