Overview

Ten-year-old Palkó has just relocated to Budapest from Berlin and watches the everyday rhythm of a typical Hungarian primary school with puzzled curiosity. Juci, a novice teacher, has also just begun her career there. She’s the only one who truly gets Palkó, since they’re both quietly wrestling with the same odd, occasionally absurd schooling system—each in their own way.
