Robert DoQui
Biography
Robert DoQui (April 20, 1934 – February 9, 2008) was a distinguished American actor celebrated for his contributions to both film and television. Hailing from Stillwater, Oklahoma, he gained prominence for his memorable portrayal of King George in the 1973 film *Coffy*, which starred the iconic Pam Grier. DoQui is also widely recognized for his role as Sgt. Warren Reed in the *RoboCop* franchise, appearing in the original 1987 film and its subsequent sequels, *RoboCop 2* (1990) and *RoboCop 3* (1993).
In the realm of television, he lent his voice to the character Pablo Roberts in the animated *Harlem Globetrotters* series from 1970 to 1973. His acting prowess was showcased in the 1978 miniseries *Centennial* and the 1990 television movie *The Court-Martial of Jackie Robinson*. Throughout his career, DoQui made guest appearances on numerous acclaimed shows, including *I Dream of Jeannie*, *The Jeffersons*, *Daniel Boone*, *Gunsmoke*, *Adam-12*, *The Parkers*, and notably, in *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine*, where he played the Klingon Noggra in the episode "Sons of Mogh."
Robert DoQui passed away on February 9, 2008, at the age of 73, and was laid to rest at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. His legacy endures through his impactful performances and the characters he brought to life.
