Biography
Gary Valentine, born Gary Joseph Knipfing in Mineola, New York, is a talented comedian and actor with German heritage and the younger brother of renowned actor Kevin James. He began his journey in comedy through stand-up, quickly establishing himself in Los Angeles's vibrant entertainment scene. Valentine showcased his comedic talents on prominent talk shows, including The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Valentine is best known for his memorable nine-season portrayal of "Cousin Danny" in the beloved CBS sitcom The King of Queens, where he also contributed as a writer. His television resume includes appearances in Men of a Certain Age, a series created by Ray Romano, and a Comedy Central special that further highlighted his comedic prowess.
In film, Valentine has starred alongside notable actors, appearing in Stuck on You with Matt Damon and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with Adam Sandler.
