After a valuable painting is stolen following a strange mist inhaled by Beka, Rhade, and the bar patrons, Dylan seizes the chance to claim the reward for its recovery, hoping to fund repairs for the Andromeda. While investigating the nanobots linked to the mist, they run into Harper and a stunning woman named Doyle. However, Harper finds himself entangled in Marika's schemes, which involve genetically engineering Vedrans and seizing control of the Seefra system.
