Ned makes his way back to the Gordons after managing to break free from his captors, but the constable is skeptical about his account. Meanwhile, Simey sells Beauty to Waggs, but the horse manages to flee in an effort to get back home. Beauty eventually finds her way to the Jones farm, where young Rosie adopts her and gives her the new name Mike. Kevin, Ned, and Jenny continue to hold onto hope for Black Beauty's safe return.
