When SpongeBob kindly helps a tiny elf retrieve his lost hat, he has no idea the trouble it will cause. Now, a whole troop of grateful elves has shown up at his pineapple, determined to repay the favor. They follow him everywhere—to work, jellyfishing, even bubble blowing—offering constant, over-the-top assistance. No matter how much SpongeBob insists he doesn’t need their help, the elves refuse to leave until their debt is paid.
