Ann buys tickets for the Baumans from a scalper, writing a check that includes her address and claiming the tickets are for her neighbors. Worried they might be targeted for theft on Christmas Eve, Ann and Donald decide to take all the valuables out of the Baumans' apartment to keep them safe. However, their plan goes awry when they are discovered by the police.
