Lovejoy appreciates the belongings of a senior widow, a dear friend of Jane’s, who is unfortunately robbed shortly after. When he discovers that he’s become the main suspect in the eyes of the local police, Lovejoy enlists the help of Brian Nunn, an extraordinary refuse collector, to uncover the truth behind the theft. Complicating matters is Eric's peculiar penchant for rummaging through bins, which adds an unexpected twist to their investigation.
