Dark Skies

Overview
Dark Skies, which aired from 1996 to 1997, explores the shadowy world of UFO conspiracies. Spanning 18 episodes plus a two-hour pilot, this sci-fi series emerged as NBC's answer to the growing popularity of The X-Files. Producers Bryce Zabel and Brent Friedman crafted a narrative that questioned the very fabric of history, encapsulated in its haunting tagline: "History as we know it is a lie."
