Melanie musters the courage to tell Derwin about her feelings for him, but her confession is quickly overshadowed when he reveals that Janay is expecting a baby. On another front, Malik finds himself confronting Tasha after she discovers his engagement to the special guest star, Robin Givens. Meanwhile, Kelly seeks assistance from her parents, played by guest stars Lee Garlington and Don McManus, in her efforts to keep Jason from interfering in her life.
