Episode Overview
Fran has been dating a charming and wealthy Jewish doctor, Julius Kimble, who proposes marriage just two weeks into their relationship. Despite her reservations, Fran agrees, largely influenced by her mother, Sylvia. While ring shopping, Julius vanishes with a pricey diamond ring, revealing his true identity as a thief. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed, Fran directs her anger at her mother, leading the Fine women to seek therapy to address their issues. Meanwhile, Fran and Mr. Sheffield lament the scarcity of appealing singles in their lives.
