Episode Overview

A shake-up in the store leads to the gentlemen's ready-to-wear department sharing their space with the Ladies' Department. This change sparks a fierce clash between Mrs. Slocombe, who heads the Ladies, and Mr. Grainger, the head of the Gents, over who gets to manage the central display. Mr. Grainger stands firm, unwilling to replace his trousers with Mrs. Slocombe's lingerie. Undeterred, she escalates the situation by appealing to Captain Peacock and then to Mr. Rumbold for support.
