Elaine is determined to help a gifted yet struggling artist overcome his crippling agoraphobia. Despite Alex's concerns—possibly stemming from jealousy over Elaine's attention to another man—he urges her to let a professional handle the situation. Unfazed, Elaine takes the artist to the garage in hopes of pushing his boundaries. As they argue about her approach, the artist surprises them by stepping out of the cab, showing signs of progress in his battle against fear.
