When Todd comes back to Los Angeles for Toni's three-month check-up, she attempts to rekindle their romance. However, he surprises her by revealing that he has sought legal advice and is pursuing a divorce. Joan advises Toni to reassess her priorities and come to terms with the possibility of being a single parent. This prompts Toni to contemplate if she truly wants to keep the baby. At the same time, Joan discovers that William is dating multiple women and tries to disrupt his romantic life, leading William to accuse her of being envious.
