Naota, a cynical sixth-grader struggling through the awkward throes of adolescence, has his world turned upside down when a wild girl on a motor scooter mows him down and smacks him in the head with a bass guitar. Suddenly, his life becomes bizarre—giant fighting robots start bursting out of his skull.
