Tom is tormented by recollections of his experiences with the aliens. Pope sows distrust regarding Tom within the group. Meanwhile, Ben's animosity towards the skitters intensifies. The 2nd Mass discovers a bridge that will enable them to cross the river and reach safety before an imminent assault.
