Episode Overview

Alphonse faces an attack from mafia members while trying to maintain his precarious job. Currently on paid leave for therapy, he reflects on the mystery of his mother’s vanishing during his childhood. Upon his return to work, he is abruptly fired by his employer, and later that same day discovers that his estranged father is hospitalized. Their reunion is fraught with tension, particularly when Alphonse uncovers his father’s hidden life as a gigolo, which complicates their already strained relationship.
