Episode Overview
Lieutenant Corey Aster and Ensign Andrew Barrett find themselves on a temporary assignment aboard the USS Aldrin, engaged in a standard terraforming operation near the Briar Patch. Their mission takes a dark turn when they uncover a mass grave containing hundreds of Bajoran refugees, leading them to investigate the involvement of the Cardassians in this tragedy. As Aster develops a bond with a Cardassian scientist, tensions rise with Ro Nevin, whose grandfather was among those killed in the massacre, complicating their quest for justice.
