Episode Overview

A fire breaks out at a hotel in Nyborg, claiming the lives of 32 individuals. Local pyromaniac Henning Jørgensen is questioned but cannot specify where the blaze began. Meanwhile, a young boy observes a bespectacled man placing a woman's body on a bench in a parking lot. A faint face appears in a newspaper photo, leading police to Otto Lykke Larsen, a man with intellectual disabilities. Upon questioning, Larsen’s apartment reveals videos of various fires, raising suspicions that he is the arsonist. He ultimately confesses to setting the hotel fire and admits to killing the woman, who is identified as Britt Hjort Jespersen.
