Worzel Gummidge S01E01 - Worzel's Washing Day

Episode Overview

While John, Sue, and Mr. Peters make their way to their new home, a Romany Caravan at Scatterbrook Farm, John spots a Scarecrow named Worzel in a nearby field and insists he saw it move. Later, he convinces Sue to return to Ten-Acre Field for a closer look. However, as they arrive, rain begins to pour. Facing the downpour, John humorously asks the Scarecrow for his umbrella, but Worzel responds with a booming, "OO - AARR!" which sends the frightened siblings sprinting back home. That evening, Worzel appears at Scatterbrook to reclaim his umbrella and anything else he can find.
