Meanwhile, as the fleet's co-commanders, Max and Millia clash during a televised interview over how to handle the looming danger, their friction palpable. The assault on Macross 7 resumes, and to the frustration of the military, Basara once again launches into battle—not to fight, but to flood the skies with his song.
