When 47 refugees suddenly arrive on the shores of a quaint fishing village, Sheriff Jude Ellis joins forces with DHS agent Emma Ren to investigate their bizarre assertion that they are escaping a war occurring 180 years ahead. The situation intensifies as Jude discovers that one of the newcomers has extraordinary powers, posing a danger to the town and putting him on a direct path to confrontation.
