Overview

Chellaiyah, a sixty-year-old farmer, views the land as a holy trust, and he bristles at the idea of his son, Pattamuthu, toiling for anyone else. Yet, when hard times force Pattamuthu into a hidden job under a man named Linga, he is swiftly entangled in a web of illicit finance. As the net tightens around his son, Chellaiyah must intervene, determined to rescue Pattamuthu and reconnect him to the soil that defines their family.
