Overview

In rural 1960s Thailand, a young woman savors the freedom of her twenties, her days drenched in golden light and unburdened joy. Decades later, she exists as the disciplined wife of an army general in bustling, modern Bangkok. As the past and present begin to bleed together, she is pulled through the currents of time, forced to reconcile the spirited girl she once was with the woman she has become.
