Overview

Kishanlal weds the lovely Lachchi, yet departs on business the very next morning, promising a five-year absence. Days later, he suddenly returns, and Lachchi is overjoyed—but this man is not her husband. A spirit, smitten after glimpsing her, has stolen his form. For four years, he plays the devoted spouse. Then the genuine Kishanlal walks back into town, and the villagers are left to unravel an impossible riddle: which one is truly her husband?
