Overview

In 1982 Lebanon, theater director Georges makes a solemn promise to an old friend: stage Antigone amid the chaos of Beirut's civil war. It's a bold, almost absurd venture—casting actors from rival factions to perform together in a fragile bid for peace. Guided through the unfamiliar, war-torn city by Marwan, Georges finds himself drawn to Imane. But as violence surges anew, his idealistic mission crumbles, forcing him to confront the brutal truths of conflict and love's impossible cost.
