Overview

Granted a rare leave from the afterlife, Bok-ja returns to the living world for one purpose: to visit her daughter, Jin-joo, a university professor residing overseas. But instead of the accomplished life she imagined, Bok-ja discovers Jin-joo running a modest local diner from their old family home. Suppressing the questions she longs to ask, Bok-ja watches her daughter closely, eventually realizing Jin-joo is haunted by unresolved pain toward her. Determined to bridge the silence, Bok-ja seeks a way to finally express the heartfelt emotions she never dared voice in life.
