Overview

When their father is drafted during the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia, three sisters start filming a Hi8 video diary at their rural home. They capture themselves applying makeup, gathering cherries, playing party games, arguing, and assisting their mother in the kitchen. This delicate, private realm may be their sole refuge from the bombings, air-raid sirens, and the war outside.
