The Slurb

Overview

One Saturday, a peculiar little being called the Slurb—sporting a trunk-like nose—shows up and latches onto timid Mr. Taschenbier, instantly dubbing him “Daddy.” The creature is his exact opposite: brash, messy, and a whirlwind of disorder in Taschenbier’s neatly arranged world. Yet when Taschenbier learns the Slurb’s blue freckles can grant wishes, everything shifts. He tames his cranky landlady, Mrs. Rotkohl, and finally outsmarts his spiteful neighbor, Mr. Lürcher. All would be perfect—if Taschenbier hadn’t fallen for his lovely coworker, Mrs. März, sending the jealous Slurb into a frenzy.
