Overview

Ulzii, a teen scraping by in Ulaanbaatar's roughest streets, has one shot at a brighter future: a national physics contest with a scholarship as the prize. When his illiterate mother takes work in the countryside, he's left to fend for himself and his siblings through a brutal winter. By night, he scavenges the city for anything combustible to keep their home warm, while by day, he buries himself in equations, racing against the cold and the clock to make his dream a reality.
