Overview

Mei, a discontented farm worker, takes a leap of faith by borrowing money from her boyfriend Seng to escape to Japan, leaving him heartbroken. However, her plans unravel when she is deported back to her homeland. Upon her return, she finds Seng waiting at the harbor, leading to a night filled with painful reflections on their fractured relationship. Amidst the turmoil of emotions, both must confront the choices they've made and the love that lingers between them, even in the face of disappointment.
