Michael, a thriving actor, grapples with a dark secret from his youth: he murdered his father. Seeking a weekend escape, he and his girlfriend Deborah visit his mother, where they are unexpectedly joined by his film director and other colleagues. Tensions rise as the superstitious housekeeper Oliver casts a wary eye on the group.
