Overview

In 2015, the eastern Ukrainian town of Hnutove in Donbass is a constant backdrop of danger, with anti-aircraft fire and missile strikes echoing close by. Many residents have fled the escalating violence, but young Oleg stays behind with his grandmother, who has raised him since his mother passed away. With no other options, they hold on to what little they have, waiting for the conflict to finally come to an end.
