Overview

Freshly elected, the new Pope eagerly anticipates his Latin American tour—until he learns the Vatican is flat broke. Enter a wealthy Mexican woman who offers to bankroll the journey, but only if he appears at a gala in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico’s notorious crime hub. Yet this so-called guardian angel is actually a drug lord. When she realizes a lookalike Pope has been dispatched in his stead, the scheme unravels into a whirlwind of mistaken identity, riotous humor, and unforeseen pandemonium.
