Overview

Hyun-ah has earned a spot in the top ten of a televised audition program, thanks to her impressive vocals and striking looks. Her real motivation for appearing on the show is to reach her mother, Jang-mi, from whom she's been apart for more than a decade. Years ago, Jang-mi herself had dreams of becoming a singer, but gave them up to fulfill responsibilities that life placed on her. Despite their poverty, the two once shared a warm and happy life together—until an incident drove them apart.
