Overview

In Iran, Tarlan, a retired dance instructor, sees her friend Rana brutally killed by her husband, a prominent official. When the authorities dismiss her pleas for help, Tarlan faces a difficult choice: surrender to the overwhelming political influence or jeopardize her own standing and safety to seek justice for her friend.
