Overview

As Iceland's glaciers vanish and his grandparents pass away, writer Andri Snær Magnason gathers his personal archives into a time capsule. He seeks to preserve what is rapidly dissolving—family bonds, cherished memories, the passage of time, and the very water itself. Through this act, he confronts the twin losses of his heritage and his homeland's frozen landscapes, holding onto fragments of a world that is slipping beyond reach.
