Seasons of the Heart

Overview

In 1862, Martha and Jed Richards settle in Oregon with their two daughters, seeking a fresh start. But cholera claims the girls en route, shattering Martha, who remains trapped in grief. When an orphan boy named Danny arrives, Jed takes to him at once, treating him like his own. Martha, however, keeps her distance, unable to open her heart again. Slowly, Danny’s presence begins to chip away at her sorrow, and bit by bit, she discovers room in her life for a new kind of family.
