Kapwa—a Filipino concept signifying togetherness or neighborliness—acknowledges a shared identity, an inner self that we hold in common with others. WHO WE BECOME is a story of kapwa, tracing three Filipino women as each awakens to political consciousness and discovers herself at a turning point in her life.
