Overview

Swimming teacher Young-eun is raising her seven-year-old daughter, So-hyun, on her own. Their lives take a dark turn when So-hyun’s puppy falls from their apartment window, and soon after, she starts bullying classmates. Despite Young-eun’s devoted efforts to treat her daughter’s troubling behavior, nothing seems to help. Two decades later, Min, who investigates deaths with no family to claim the bodies, grows close to a new coworker, Hae-young. But as Hae-young seamlessly slips into Min’s daily life, a creeping unease takes hold—and Min starts questioning exactly what Hae-young is after.
