Overview

Melody, an exotic dancer, and her boyfriend Patrick, a doctor, are gearing up for a festive visit to his family’s home. But the holiday cheer evaporates the moment they arrive: Patrick’s fiercely protective and critical mother wastes no time making her disapproval of Melody painfully clear. Convinced her son deserves better, she unleashes a torrent of judgment. Can Melody ever earn a place in this family, or will the mother’s deep-seated insecurities tear them apart?
