Overview

October 1955. In the small village of La Chapelle-Basse-Mer, nestled in France's Loire-Atlantique region, an elderly clog-maker spends his days fashioning wooden shoes with painstaking care. He lives quietly with his wife and their adopted son, their modest home filled with the rhythm of his craft.
