Good Will to Men
Overview
The young mice gather in the crumbling church, rehearsing for an upcoming service. After finishing a playful rendition of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," they pause at the final line, "Good will to men." One curious mouse turns to the elderly choirmaster and asks, "What are men?" The old mouse sighs, explaining that humans destroyed themselves, each generation forging deadlier arms—from guns to missiles to bombs—until none remained.
